Customer Support/Graphic Designer

The Customer Service/Graphic Designer will work with customers and colleagues to oversee all onsite order details and graphic art leading to sales and production at Spectrum Designs Foundation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact directly and interpret the client's business needs and develop a concept to suit their purpose

  • Decide the most appropriate production method depending on the client’s needs

  • Receive digital artwork and take steps towards sale and production

  • Create and/or recreate logos and graphics for clients using the Adobe Suite or sketch

  • Communicate with customers in a clear and timely manner regarding order issues and/or status via phone or email

  • Estimate the time required to complete the work and provide accurate quotes for clients

  • Create the layout and pricing for Chipply webstores, as well as close them into a final order

  • Input orders into electronic order system and cloud task manager (Printavo, SAGE, Chipply)

  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for clients and the organization

  • Work closely with supervisor and colleagues to organize and accurately anticipate a production schedule with deadlines prioritized

  • Attend to all communications via phone, email, Microsoft Teams and texts daily

  • Ability to multitask multiple computer applications while speaking with clients and staff

  • Take initiative to increase quality control of the overall business activities

  • Foster and identify potential customers and donors for the organization’s mission

  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Skill and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design / Art related discipline

  • Preferred 2+ years in Customer Service

  • Preferred 2+ years in Adobe Illustrator and vector creation

  • Screen print, embroidery, heat transfer, direct to garment and general apparel + promotional product knowledge is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail – both artwork and email
